Pulses
Pulses are the edible seeds of plants in the legume family. Pulses grow in pods and come in a variety of shapes, sizes and colors. They are annual crops and the term is limited to crops harvested for dry grains rather than vegetable crops harvested whilst still green. The term includes dry beans, dry broad beans, dry peas, chickpeas, cow peas, lentils and lupins among other minor crops.
Linseed
Linseed, also known as flaxseed was cultivated in Babylon as early as 3000 BC. They have a fresh nutty flavour and are a natural source of essential fatty acids including omega-3 and omega-6. Produced in Benalla, Victoria, Australia using Australian grown linseed.
