Gram, chickpea or besan flour is a white coloured pulse flour made from a variety of ground chickpea. It is a staple ingredient in the cuisine of the Indian subcontinent. Besan flour is one of the most nutrient packed gluten-free flours available and is naturally higher in protein than wheat-based flours. It is also an excellent egg replacement for gluten-free cooking and baking. Produced in Benalla, Victoria, Australia.
